Information Sharing When You Connect With a Professional
When you choose to connect with a professional through Celestial Divide, you instruct Celestial Divide to share information from your estate workspace that is relevant to that professional’s role and services. This may include detailed financial, asset, property, liability, income, beneficiary, and related estate information maintained on the Celestial Divide platform.
Only the professional you select will receive your information. Celestial Divide does not share the contact information of other beneficiaries without their express authorization.
If you choose to connect with multiple professionals, your information will be shared separately with each professional you select. You control which professionals receive your information and when those connections occur.
Working With Existing Professionals
If you indicate that you are working with an attorney, financial advisor, or other professional, you may authorize that professional to view and access information contained within your Celestial Divide estate workspace.
In some cases, professionals you are already working with may customize or amend the Trusted Professional Network (“TPN”) listings presented to you by adding professionals they trust or regularly collaborate with. These professionals are identified or recommended by your existing advisor or attorney, not by Celestial Divide.
Celestial Divide does not supervise, endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the quality, suitability, or outcomes of work performed by professionals added or recommended by another professional. Any engagement with such professionals is solely between you and that professional.
Trusted Professional Network Disclaimer and User Responsibility
Celestial Divide performs preliminary vetting of professionals included in the Trusted Professional Network. However, Celestial Divide does not provide legal, tax, financial, or investment advice and does not guarantee the competence, performance, pricing, or results of any professional.
Users are encouraged to connect with multiple professionals to evaluate experience, approach, and fit. You are solely responsible for selecting the professionals you engage and for determining whether their services meet your needs. Celestial Divide makes no representations regarding any professional’s qualifications beyond the information they provide.
Estate Data Retention and Deletion
Celestial Divide retains estate workspace information for up to three (3) years from the later of account creation or last activity, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
After this period, your estate information may be permanently deleted. You are responsible for downloading and retaining any reports, analyses, summaries, bids, or conclusions you wish to keep before deletion occurs. Celestial Divide is not responsible for maintaining records beyond the retention period.
Billing and Payment Information
Celestial Divide uses Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle billing and payments. Celestial Divide does not store or retain your credit card or payment account information on its servers. All payment information is processed and secured by Stripe in accordance with its privacy and security practices.
Beneficiary Privacy and Bidding Visibility
Individual beneficiaries do not have access to the bids, offer amounts, or financial contributions submitted by other beneficiaries. Beneficiaries may view aggregate bidding progress indicators (for example, “5 of 10 assets bid on” or “50% complete”), which do not disclose individual bid details or participant identities.
Sale of Information
Celestial Divide does not sell your personal information to credit card issuers, lenders, or marketing lists. Individual beneficiaries may request to connect with lending professionals using the Trusted Professional Network, but Celestial Divide will not share information to credit card issuers, lenders, or marketing lists outside of the Trusted Professional Network capacity.
